The convenor of the ‘Shaping the Future with Volunteering’ group of charities and led on The Big Help Out as part of the Coronation events in May. An advisor to Intergenerational England. A career that has transformed the way people think, talk and act on dementia, establishing the Dementia Friends programme with over 3 million people members in the UK. He co-chairs the Prime Minister’s Dementia Friendly Communities Champion Group with broadcaster Angela Rippon.
