Lifelong
learning
Our Goal
We want to connect to all student bodies, unions and education providers to establish a new UK narrative on empowering adults through access to lifelong learning at every stage of life. Recognising that the 50 year career and multiple carer paths are becoming the norm, we need a learning structure that is geared to all stages of life.
1
Impact and Activity
Engage student bodies, unions and education providers to redefine the narrative of being a mature student to empowering adults through lifelong learning
2
Outputs
Every education provider, policy makers and the government recognises the importance of lifelong learning, ceasing making an artificial divide between students over and under 21.

3
Change mechanisms
Changing hearts and minds by setting out a compelling narrative of the 50 year career to support growth mindsets and intergenerational teams. Influencing employment strategies and access to life long learning.
4
Outcomes
We see a change in the definition of life long learning and attitude to 50 year career, accompanied by an intergenerational student population. We want to see a change in the perception of a 'mature student' which is currently defined as any student aged over 21.
